Best MLB strikeout bets: 3 strikeout props for Saturday 6/17

We're on a nice little hot streak in K prop land, sweeping each of the last two days to bring a 6-0 run into the weekend. Let's stay hot with three more picks for Saturday's slate.

Braxton Garrett under 4.5 Ks (+125 DK)

I haven't lost fading the starting pitcher facing the Washington Nationals all week. The Nats are still averaging the fewest strikeouts per game in MLB over the last 15 days, and reigning NL Cy Young winner Sandy Alcantara managed just one punch out against them Friday. I'm a little worried about Braxton Garrett, who's cleared this number in six of his last seven starts, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Logan Gilbert over 6.5 Ks (+120 FD)

Unlike the Nationals, the Chicago White Sox have been striking out a ton lately. The White Sox lead the league in strikeouts per game (10.7) over the past 15 days. Logan Gilbert hasn't gone over this number in four straight starts, but this is a perfect matchup to get back on track. The plus money is just a bonus.

Bryce Elder over 5.5 Ks (+110 DK)

It's a plus-money day in strikeout world, I suppose. The Colorado Rockies have struck out 64 times in their last six games, which is the most in MLB over that span. As for Bryce Elder, he's gone over this number in three of his last five starts, and he's been close to or over 100 pitches in 12 straight starts.
